I sent him to school.
Technically I shouldn't have. But it was his fourth day and he REALLY wanted to go. He was sporting a fever of 100.2. I sent him and then went into the school after and talked to the nurse. She said it was OK to send him despite them having a 100 degree rule.
He came home with the same fever. He's also sneezing, coughing and stuffy. But he did not want to miss his first gymnastics class. He loved it! He had SO much fun! How do I know? His stimmometer!!!! Tyler has this "happy stim" he does. He jumps up and down, flaps his arms and does this tip toe dance thing. He did it almost non stop. He did great at gymnastics :).
Tonight his temp is doing in the 99's. Hopefully it stays down like that because tomorrow Tyler is Star of the Day at school! This means he gets to be line leader, teacher helper AND gets to do show and tell. Naturally he is going to bring bear bear. I really hope he is well enough to go.
I have a call into the immunologists office to see about starting him on his daily antibiotics. By 4:45 I had no received a call so I called them. I was told the doctor was just now making the calls. Apparently they called at 4:53 but I missed it and then again at 5:10. The ringer on my phone gets turned off all the time due to where the mute button is. It is rather frustrating. The office closes at 5 so I couldn't call them back. Their message said I should call back tomorrow morning.
And so it begins.
